The building (and studio) are very energy efficient (label A), which means that the house stays warm in winter and cool in summer, and energy costs are low. The whole studio has floor heating (including the bathroom) so no radiators/heaters stand in the way.

The studio is unfurnished (but with blinding curtains), so you can furnish it to your own liking style. It has a beautiful wooden floor (laminated) and a fully equipped modern kitchen (fridge, induction cooker, dishwasher, oven/microwave and plenty of cupboards). Because of these floor-to-ceiling windows the living is very bright, there is a lot of natural light coming in.
The bathroom has beautiful grey tiles with floor heating, and features a sink, toilet and shower with glass separation. There is another separate (storage) room for the washing machine / dryer which includes all the connections necessary. In the basement of the building you can find a separate personal storage room of about 6m2 with racks for you to store equipment and other stuff.

The building is located in the refurbished neighborhood De Banne in Amsterdam-North close to public transport (Metro/Bus/Ferry) which connects you to all other parts of the city. In the immediate vicinity you will find supermarkets, various stores and a variety of cozy restaurants and cafes, but also a hospital. At the end of the street you will find shopping center Banne and shopping center Boven 't IJ. The popular NDSM terrain is nearby (5 min cycling) for culture, nightlife or alternative eating places. With the North-South line (Station Noord) at 5 minutes cycling distance, accessibility is optimal, allowing you to reach the center in no time. Other public transport connections to different parts of the city are easily accessible. The ferry Buiksloterweg - CS is just 10 minutes cycling distance. There are many parks in the surroundings including the Twiske nature area which is a 10 min bike ride, so spending summer in this studio is great.
